Laura Ann Wood, 58, of Harrington, DE, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016, in her home, surrounded by the family she loved dearly. She was born in Orange, NJ to Roy L. and Joan T. Deter. Laura worked for the past 16 years, at home, in administration for the Aetna Insurance Company. In her spare time, she loved to go camping with her husband, Floyd. She also enjoyed reading, baking, and gardening. Laura will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She will be remembered forever, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and close friends. Laura is survived by her husband, Floyd W. Wood of Harrington, DE; her children, John V. Cacopardo of Camden, DE; Danielle Y. Cacopardo of Milford, DE; William J. Rodenbaugh of Rehoboth, DE; Jacob F. Rodenbaugh of Harrington, DE; and Michael L. Rodenbaugh of Rehoboth, DE; her stepchildren, Bionca M. Wood of Lewes, DE; and Christopher Wood of Millsboro, DE; her siblings, Roy L. Deter Jr. of Denville, NJ; Lynn T. Errico of Branchville, NJ; Glen W. Deter of Green Village, NJ; and Wayne P. Deter of Harrington, DE; and her grandchildren, Ethan Cacopardo, Dylan Davis, and Alexandria Cacopardo. A time to gather to celebrate her life and pay respects to her family was held Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Harrington Moose Lodge #534, Harrington, DE.
