Melvin Clere of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, formerly of Livingston, New Jersey, died on Sunday, April 17, 2016. For 66 years, he was the beloved husband of Mildred H. (Starr) Clere; loving father of Deborah Baer of Burlington and her late husband, Dr. Warren S. Baer; Naomi and Albert Weiss of New Jersey; and Sarah and Craig Scott of Minnesota; adored grandfather of Samuel Baer, Michael and Jaclyn Baer, Daniel Weiss, Arielle Weiss, Joshua Scott, and Zachary Scott; the great-grandfather of Logan Stanley Baer; and the dear brother of the late Max and Louise Clere. He is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Services will take place in the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, Massachusetts, on Friday, April 22 at 2 p.m. Shiva will be private.
