Funeral services were recently held in Florida for Herbert Boden, 82, who died on April 17. A resident of Boca Raton, Florida, Mr. Boden was born in the Bronx, New York. He moved to Livingston in 1965, and then moved to Florida in 2005. A member of Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston, he served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. Mr. Boden was a member of the Garden State Yacht Club and Maplewood Country Club. He worked at Walker Foods from 1959 to 2005 and became an owner of the business in 1974. He was recognized as a leading importer of international cheese and specialty foods. Mr. Boden is survived by his wife, Claire Boden. He is also survived by his children, Scott Boden (Mary) of Atlanta, Georgia; Stacey Strumeyer of Verona; and Jennifer Hubert (Jason) of Livingston; and 11 grandchildren.
