Mrs. Ruth L. Soperstein of Whippany died Saturday, April 30. Arrangements were by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel of Livingston. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she lived in Newark and then Livingston before moving to Whippany three years ago. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Soperstein had been a teacher in the Parsippany elementary schools for 25 years. Mrs. Soperstein received her undergraduate and master's degrees, both in education, from Kean College. Predeceased by her husband, Judge M. Marvin Soperstein, she is survived by her children, Arlene Vitolo and Jay Vigotov; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
