LHS Robotics Team Qualifies for State Event

The Livingston High School’s Lancer Robotics team will compete in the state championships on February 26. The team qualified for the New Jersey competition after winning the Motivate Award for its extensive outreach efforts and placing second for “Inspire,” at the recent Northeast New Jersey League Tournament. The team was also nominated for three other awards, including the Think Award for documentation; the Connect Award, which celebrates a team’s efforts in promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and working with engineers; and the PTC Design Award, which is awarded to the team with the most robust robot design.
