Lincoln Avenue Habitat for Humanity Project to Be Discussed at Public Meeting

The Township of Livingston has announced that it will hold a public meeting about possible Habitat for Humanity development on Lincoln Avenue. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 1, at 6 p.m. in the Training Room at Town Hall. Representatives of the engineering firm Mott MacDonald will be in attendance, and residents will have the opportunity to review and discuss drainage concerns in the area of the three vacant lots associated with the project. In 2016, Livingston officials announced a partnership between the Township and Habitat for Humanity. However, once the site of the anticipated project was identified, concerns were raised about water, flooding and drainage conditions near the site.
