Temple Emanu-El of West Essex in Livingston, a Reform Jewish congregation of 61 years, will close on June 30. The congregants were informed on February 13, after several months of examination of Temple Emanu-El’s current and long-term financial viability by the Board of Trustees and other lay leaders.
