New Basketball League For Synagogue Men

A new men’s adult basketball league for area synagogues ran from early December through February, and is planned to continue next season. Congregation Israel of Springfield captured the inaugural “Kiddush Cup” trophy, with a four-point win over Temple Beth Shalom of Livingston. Another Livingston synagogue, Suburban Torah, fielded two teams in the league.
