The Livingston High School boys’ ice hockey team participated in the first Shining Stars special needs floor hockey event on Saturday morning, February 25, following the team’s 2-1 overtime win Friday night in the NJSIAA Tournament. The program was held in the LHS auxiliary gym. LHS hockey players arrived in game shirts, ready to teach stick skills and play hockey games with the Shining Stars children and young adults. The event began with a warm-up, and then each Shining Star participant was announced and ran through a tunnel formed by LHS hockey players, while DJ Barry Schwartz played music.
