Children’s Theatre of Livingston (CTL), “where every child takes center stage,” will present Disney’s Peter Pan Jr. this weekend with four performances. The play will be presented on Saturday, March 25, and Sunday, March 26, at the Eisenhower Corporate Center, 290 West Mt. Pleasant Avenue. Two shows will take place each day at 12:30 and 3 p.m. The production is based on the Disney film and J.M. Barrie’s early 20th century play, Peter Pan. In the story, Wendy Darling loves to tell bedtime stories to her brothers, Michael and John. But when her father announces she must move out of the nursery, Peter Pan comes to visit the children and whisks them away to Neverland. Their journey introduces them to the Lost Boys, mermaids, Indians and even the infamous pirate, Captain Hook. It’s Peter to the rescue when Wendy is taken captive by the dreaded captain, who has his own sinister plans in mind for our hero.
