Alpheus J. Norman III died on May 2 at 88 years of age. The former Livingston resident, who moved to Normandy Beach 27 years ago, had owned and operated Norman Florist, Inc. in East Orange and Livingston. Funeral arrangements were by the Timothy E. Ryan Home in Toms River. Born in Irvington, Mr. Norman was a 1946 graduate of East Orange High School and Montclair Academy, and attended the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Norman was predeceased by his brother, Robert A. Norman. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Norman. He is also survived by his four children, Alpheus J. Norman IV and his wife, Jeneene; Gary C. Norman and his wife, Linda; Mark P. Norman; and Nancy A. Norman; four grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Audrey Norman.
