At the request of mayor Shawn Klein, representatives of Transparent Energy spoke to the Livingston Town Council on Monday evening about energy aggregation. Nathan Burroughs, the company’s director of public projects, and Paul Shagawat, managing partner, talked about their business, which procures energy through an online reverse auction program. The firm is headquartered in Fairfield.
“If you do it correctly, it could be an automatic savings program,” said Burroughs.
