Livingston volunteer firefighters, who responded to 15 calls this week, have mailed their annual letters to solicit financial support from the community. The Livingston Fire Department (LFD) has been serving the community since 1921. Under the leadership of full-time Fire Chief Chris Mullin and Assistant Chief Kevin Francione, the department currently operates with a contingent of 64 unpaid volunteer firefighters, and three volunteer Deputy Chiefs. The members of the LFD are on call 24 hours a day.
