Board of Education to Vote on ADA/Parking Bid; Bus Lot Bid Will Not Be Recommended

The Board of Education will hold a special voting meeting tonight, Thursday, June 22, at 7 p.m., to approve or reject a construction bid that will improve handicapped accessibility at the district’s administration building, as well as provide additional parking for staff and visitors. The bid to be voted on does not include plans for the bus parking lot that has been a serious concern for nearby residents. The meeting will be held in the administration building at 11 Foxcroft Drive. “I will not be recommending the bus parking lot bid,” said Steven Robinson, school district business administrator, at the Board’s Monday night meeting. “I am not looking to bring all buses to Heritage Middle School.” To read more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition http://www.etypeservices.com/West%20Essex%20TribuneID480/ ...
