Funeral Services Held For Donald R. McKay

Donald R. McKay, 74, of Roseland, formerly of Livingston, died Friday, July 28. Funeral arrangements were by Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston. Mr. McKay was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and was graduated from Livingston High School in 1961 as president of his class. He excelled at football and track and was named all-state in football. He continued his athletic and academic successes at Princeton University, from which he was graduated in 1965. He played starting tailback for Princeton's only undefeated football team and was selected for the All-Ivy Team. In 1978, he was the second inductee into the Livingston Athletic Hall of Fame. Professionally, Mr. McKay had a long career in wealth management, and recently retired from UBS as senior vice president, executive wealth management. He is survived by his wife, Martha McKay; his children, Scott McKay and his wife, Suzanne; Liz Conklin and her husband, David; Douglas McKay and his wife, Susan; Stefanie Emmons; and Kristin Levin and her husband, Michael; his brother, Jack McKay, and his wife, Leslie; his sister, Diane Watson; and eight grandchildren. The family has announced that, in lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. McKay’s name to the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation, NETRF.org would be greatly appreciated. ...
