Graveside Services Held For Malcolm Scharf

Malcolm Scharf of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Livingston, died July 28, at the age of 94. A World War II veteran, Mr. Scharf served in U.S. Army Signal Corps and earned a Purple Heart for his contributions. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and ran a kitchen manufacturing business in Springfield for 45 years. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rhoda, and his sons, Robert and Steven. He was predeceased by his daughter, Carol. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family has suggested that memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Hospice of Palm Beach and Broward County Foundation. ...
