Madonna Drive Field Named for Saint Barnabas Medical Center

Formerly known simply as “Madonna Field,” the new multi-sport turf field on Madonna Drive received its official name, “Saint Barnabas Medical Center Community Field,” at a ceremony held on Monday, October 9, at 4 p.m. Officials from the Township of Livingston joined Saint Barnabas Medical Center staff to celebrate the new education pavilion at the field. The field is used by Livingston recreation and high school athletes of all ages, spanning sports from football and soccer, to lacrosse and cricket. Saint Barnabas Medical Center donated $1.3 million toward funding the project. A flagship facility of RWJBarnabas Health, Saint Barnabas Medical Center, noted Barry Ostrowsky, president and CEO, RWJBarnabas Health, “is committed to enhancing the health and well-being of the youth in its community.
