The Livingston High School wrestling team travelled to Nutley High School for a quad match against the host school, Orange and Verona last Saturday. The Lancers came away with three conference victories.
After dropping the first bout against Orange, Livingston won the next 11 in a row for a 59-15 match win. Mike Wong (170) scored another pin for the season, while Sean Neary (106) got a late takedown for a major decision bonus point victory. Captains Anthony Petrillo (126) and Matt Nichter (132) went back-to-back with a major decision and a pin to pile on more bonus points for the Lancer grapplers. Nichter used a turk and claw to deck his man.
