Accidents Close E. Northfield Road Tuesday

Two trucks pulled down several wires and utilities poles, closing East Northfield Road for most of Tuesday. In other police-related action this week, a Bronx woman was caught trying to fraudulently cash a $4,800 check at a township bank.
