Council Approves Condos, Resolves to Refund Unbilled Taxes

Several resolutions were passed at Monday night’s Township Council conference meeting, including approval for construction of more than 200 condominiums and apartments, authorization of a $725,000 contract with a painting company, and permission to refund residents’ unbilled property taxes. The Council executed a developer’s agreement with Pulte Homes of NJ, after the company made applications for a minor subdivision and preliminary and final site plan approval to permit construction of 170 condominium townhouses and 51 rentable affordable housing apartments. A developer’s agreement is a contract between the developer and Livingston detailing their obligations to each other and specifying the standards that will apply to the property.
