Winter Storm Riley, a nor’easter that hit the state on Friday afternoon, March 2, kept Department of Public Works (DPW) crews busy attending to a variety of storm-related tasks.
“This storm had everything – rain, sleet, snow, high winds,” said Mike Anello, superintendent of Public Works. “You name it, we got it.”
High winds and wet, heavy snow brought down at least 11 trees in the township, along with numerous branches.
