Mass Offered Monday For Mrs. Italia Romano

Italia Romano (nee De Vito) died Wednesday, March 7, in her Livingston home. She was 85 years old. Arrangements were by the LaMonica Memorial Home of Livingston. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Monday, March 12, in St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church in Livingston, followed by the interment in Gate of Heaven, East Hanover. Born in Newark, Mrs. Romano lived in East Orange before moving to Livingston 50 years ago. She was employed by Sears in Livingston for more than 30 years as a sales clerk, retiring 20 years ago. She was the wife of Erminio Romano; the mother of Angelo and his wife, Dawn; David and his wife, Connie; and Robert and his wife, Maria; and the sister of Mary Venutola, Angelina DeLucia, and the late Theresa Petrozzello. She is also survived by five grandchildren. ...
