Funeral Service Held For Jonah Eisenstark

Jonah Eric Eisenstark of West Orange, a former Livingston resident and United States Marine Corps veteran of the Iraq War, died Thursday, June 14. He was 39 years old. A funeral service was held Monday, June 18, at the Bernheim-Apter- Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel in Livingston. Burial followed at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin. Born in Summit, Mr. Eisenstark was a Livingston High School graduate and attended the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. He joined the U.S. Marines and served in the Iraq War. After his discharge from the Marines, he was a customer service representative with Verizon in its Livingston headquarters. Mr. Eisenstark is survived by his parents, Jacob and Blanche (Greenstein) Eisenstark; his sisters, Julie and Nicole Eisenstark; and his companion, Ace. The family has suggested that donations in his memory may be made to Homes for Veterans, 105 Highland Avenue, Harrington Park, NJ 07640, homesforveterans.us. ...
