During the course of an otherwise quiet week, Livingston firefighters went to assist at the scene of a twocar accident on Wednesday night, June 27.
According to fire officials, the accident occurred at about 10:45 p.m. at 88 West Mt. Pleasant Avenue. As a result of a two-car collision, a tree was hit and came down into the roadway. One male occupant was trapped in a vehicle after the driver’s side door was smashed in. Firefighters popped the door open using irons. The two people involved in the accident refused medical attention at the scene.
