Former Livingston resident Leslie (Sher) Gold and her husband, Jeffrey, completed a 60-day cross-country bicycling trip that began on Saturday, March 24, in Long Beach, California, and ended in Livingston on Tuesday, May 22. As per cycling tradition, the couple dipped the rear wheels of their bicycles in the Pacific Ocean at the start, and the front wheels in the Atlantic Ocean, at Asbury Park, at the end.
