Neil M. Larney, 80, of Livingston passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018. Born in Newark to Cornelius and Elizabeth Larney, Neil was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Larney; loving father of the late Timothy Larney and his wife Susan, Michael Larney, Eileen Larney, and Mary Press and her husband Robert; cherished grandfather of Andrew and Brian Larney, and Daniel and Matthew Press; dear brother of Gail Judge, Terence Larney and his wife Margaret, and Thomas Larney and his wife Lydia. Neil is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and close friends. Visitation will be held today, Thursday, July 26, from 4 - 8 p.m. at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston. The funeral Mass will be Friday, July 27, at 10 a.m. at St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, 386 S. Livingston Avenue, Livingston. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
