Former Livingston resident Mary Siccardi died Wednesday, July 25, at the age of 97. Visitation took place Monday, July 30, at the Codey and Jones Funeral Home of Caldwell. A funeral Mass was offered at Our lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church, Caldwell, on Tuesday, July 31. Interment followed at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. She was an employment supervisor for 18 years with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company before her retirement in 1985. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Sr., and her siblings, Anna DiGisi and Anthony, Edward, Louis, Alfred, and Joseph Florio. Surviving are her children, Luana McDonnell and her husband, Robert; Joseph Siccardi; Sandra Stein and her husband, John, and Frederick Siccardi Jr.; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations be made in Mrs. Siccardi’s memory to Our Lady of the Valley Church/Handicap Ramp Fund.
