Mass Offered Aug. 4 For Gregory Bylo, 60

Gregory R. Bylo died Tuesday, July 31. He was 60 years old. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, August 4, at St. Philomena Church, Livingston. Visitation took place at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston, on Friday, August 3, and Saturday, August 4. Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, Mr. Bylo attended the University of Connecticut and received a degree in mechanical engineering and material science. He was the vice president of health care at GS1 US in Lawrenceville. Earlier, he was an engineer at Smith and Wesson, manager of quality assurance for Kearfott Guidance and Navigation, and the director of supply chain for BD. Mr. Bylo was an active parishioner at St. Philomena Church as a Eucharistic minister and Pre-Cana team member. He also served on the Parent Guild of Aquinas Academy. In addition, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Mountain Council 3533. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marianne (née Goeckel); his daughter, Justine, and son-in-law, Dale Short; his mother, Roberta Monte; and his brothers, Christopher Bylo, Rick Rogers (Jennifer), Robert Bylo (Carrie), and David Bylo. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Frank Goeckel (Julie), and his sisters-in-law, Susan Goeckel (the late Robert P.), and Carolyn Goeckel.
