Summer of Love

Because of Livingston’s continuing generosity into the summer months, Livingston Philanthropies, Inc. board member and volunteer, Joyce Friedman, along with her grandson, Will Lombardo, distributed toiletries and children’s gift bags at St. John’s Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry in Newark. Livingston Philanthropies is requesting hotel/travel sized shampoo, conditioner, soap, tooth brushes, tooth paste, mouthwash, deodorant, razors, cotton swabs, body wash, lotion, baby diapers in sizes 4, 5 and 6, and more. Donations may be dropped at the West Essex Tribune, located at 495 South Livingston Avenue, next to ShopRite. Donations may also be left at Ascend Physical Therapy in Montclair; and at the chiropractic offices of Dr. Gary Hecht in Springfield. Those unable to drop donations at the Livingston Philanthropies’ drop-off points may e-mail Friedman at jftv1@verizon.net for private pick-up.
