There are no words to adequately describe the overwhelming sadness we, along with the rest of the community, are feeling following the sudden, tragic deaths of two rising Livingston High School seniors. Matthew Poole and Isabella Brodsky drowned Tuesday evening, August 7, in Oakland’s Ramapo Lake. Reports say Poole acted heroically, jumping into the water to save Brodsky, though both, sadly, never made it back to the shore. We are sure parents have been holding their children a little tighter this past week after hearing the news.
