After a few months of assuming the role in an acting capacity, Gary Marshuetz was officially sworn in as Chief of the Livingston Police Department at Tuesday’s regular meeting of the Township Council.
The September 4 meeting was held in the Livingston High School auditorium both to accommodate the crowd and because it offered air conditioning. The meeting was initially scheduled to be held in the Senior/Community Center but was moved due to temperatures exceeding 90 degrees.
