Services Were Held For Howard Wahler

Howard E. Wahler, 94, died on November 23. Born in Newark and raised in Maplewood, he had lived Livingston for many years until moving to West Orange. Mr. Wahler was married to the late Marion Wahler for over 68 years. He is survived by his daughters, Sheila Tarabour (Marc) and Nancy Wahler (John Irwin), and three grandchildren. Mr. Wahler served in the 10th Mountain Division Ski Troops during World War II and participated in a successful campaign in Riva Ridge, Italy, as a member of the Signal Corps. A graduate of Rutgers University, Mr. Wahler worked as a CPA with the Internal Revenue Service, Granet and Granet, and JH Cohn. He was a longtime member of Temple Emanu-El in Livingston. Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 25, at the Bernheim- Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Donations in his memory may be made to the Michael J.
