Beloved Mother & Grandmother Formerly of Livingston Edda Kaufman, 92, formerly of Livingston, passed away March 26 surrounded by her loving family. Edda was born in Philadelphia and was a Livingston resident for 25 years before moving to West Orange. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 27, at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge. Mrs. Kaufman was predeceased by her husband, devoting her life to raising her two young boys. Edda was a legal secretary. She had many hobbies and interests. Always with a book by her side, she was an avid reader. She was also an artist, with many of her works displayed at local art shows. Other interests included golf, hiking, and travel. Being a grandmother to Samantha and Alex was her greatest joy. Edda was the devoted mother of Andy (Gina), Bob (Lori); proud grandmother of Samantha (Andy), and Alex.
