High School Moving to Semesters From Marking Periods Next Year

Livingston High School will use a semester calendar, rather than the existing system of four marking periods, in the coming school year. Principal Mark Stern and assistant principal Danielle Rosenzweig presented the program to the Board of Education on May 13. Grades will be accumulated in two semester grades rather than four marking period grades, they said.
