Mark M. Prial of Livingston died June 19 at the age of 57.
Mr. Prial grew up in South Orange and later moved to Livingston, where he lived for the past 25 years. He was a South Orange police officer for 27 years, retiring as a lieutenant.
He was predeceased by his father, Frank. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patricia; his children, James and McKenna; his mother, Jeanne; and his siblings, Frank and Dunstan (Amy).
Visitation was held Sunday, June 23, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston. The funeral service was private. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations in Mr. Prial’s name be made to the Policemen’s BenevolentAssociation, Local 12, 201 South Orange Avenue, South Orange, NJ 07079.
