The Livingston Fire Department responded to a general alarm at 6:01 p.m. on Monday evening, July 1, which turned out to be a basement fire at 39 Pine Valley Road. Fortunately, no injuries were incurred.
According to Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Francione, the fire was confined to the home’s basement.The basement suffered fire damage, and the first and second floors of the house sustained smoke damage.
The house belongs to Christopher and Donna Barker. According to fire officials, Donna Barker and the couple’s son were home, and escaped the house unharmed.
