Dodgers Split Doubleheader with N.J. Royals

In a battle for first place in the U.S. Over Thirty Baseball league, the Livingston Dodgers split a doubleheader with the New Jersey Royals. The Royals took the first game, 7-2, and the Dodgers captured the nightcap, 13-6. Former Dodger Adam Slater won the first game on the mound for the Royals, scattering eight hits and walking none. The Dodgers’ only runs came in the first inning. Frank Moretti singled and went to third on a failed pick-off attempt. He scored on a Troy Evans ground-out. Rob Pettigrew had two hits for the Dodgers.
