The Board of Education commemorated Veterans Day at its November 11 meeting when three faculty members from Livingston High School who served in the military led the Pledge of Allegiance. They wereAmro Mohammed, dean of students, a veteran of 26 years in the Marines; Marie Battist-Rock, business teacher, who spent 2 ½ years in the Army and four in the Reserves; and Mike Munley, who teaches health and physical education and spent four years in the Marines. “People have given so much for our freedom,” commented school superintendent Matthew Block. “We are honored that our staff members who have given so much of themselves are able to join us tonight.
