Services Were Held For Jane Kocur, 98

Jane Kocur, 98, of Livingston, died on Wednesday, November 27. Born in Newark to Stephanie and Frank Kiersten, Mrs. Kocur was a parishioner of St. Philomena Church and a member of the Oakleaf Club. She won an award for baking from Betty Crocker and her recipe was featured in Better Homes and Gardens. Mrs. Kocur was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Kocur, and her siblings, Edward Kiersten and Helen Jarmusz. She is survived by her children, William (Terry) Kocur, Susan Kocur, Linda Kocur, and Nancy Taylor (Jon); two grandchildren; and her brother, Stanley Kiersten. A funeral service was held at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home on Monday, December. 2, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
