Student Designs SNAPApp For Low Income Families

While completing her academic work and other extracurricular activities, Livingston High School senior Dana Brustein found time to create an app for the Congressional App Challenge. Earlier this month, Representative Mikie Sherrill called Brustein to tell her that she won the 2019 competition in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District. Brustein learned about the Challenge through a former robotics teammate.
