Last week’s ice storm and the lingering coating of ice on trees and power lines kept the Fire Department busy with a number of calls about downed wires and trees. Fire officials responded to two calls on Cherry Hill Road on Tuesday, December 17. At 17 Cherry Hill Road, firefighters assisted police in moving a large tree branch that had come down and blocked the driveway. Down the street, at 34 Cherry Hill Road, wires came down and blocked the roadway.
