Defeats Morristown

The shorthanded Lancers, missing a number of starters due to injury, travelled to Morristown for a Friday night meet. After forfeiting the 220 pound weight class, Lancer heavyweight Azel Bishop energized the Livingston faithful by using a half nelson to score a come-from-behind pin in the third period to get his first varsity win. “That was huge for our team,” said head coach Ernie Cuneo. “We’ve got a kid wrestling in his first match ever and he gets us six. We don’t end up with the W tonight without Azel getting us going.”
