Services Were Held For Frieda Greenstein

Frieda Greenstein, née Hornstein, 95, died on November 23. Born in Newark, she lived in Livingston, then in Lauderhill, Florida, for 20 years, before moving to Whippany. Mrs. Greenstein was a patient relations director at Beth Israel Medical Center, Newark, for 35 years. Predeceased by her husbands, Sanford Sweigman and Dave Greenstein, and her son, Steven Sweigman, she is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Michael) Sakowitz of Wayne; a sister, Helene Siegel of Monroe Township; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter. Services were held November 26 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest New Jersey. that coloring generates wellness, quietness and also stimulates brain areas related to motor skills, the senses and creativity. The sessions will be on Thursday mornings, from 11 a.m. to noon on January 2, 16, and 30, and February 6 and 20. Coloring sheets and supplies are provided along with some relaxing music. Chiplunkar said, “just come ready to sit and put color to paper for a relaxing hour, and maybe bring a friend along.” For more information, call the library at 973-992-4600. ...
