"Light A Candle For Wuhan"

“LIGHT A CANDLE FOR WUHAN,” a candlelight vigil for the people of Wuhan, China, was held at the gazebo in Memorial Park on Saturday evening, February 8. Wuhan is the epicenter of the deadly coronavirus outbreak, which has infected more than 40,000 people and killed more than 1,000. The vigil was initiated by three Livingston High School sophomores, Gavin Chen, Yony Nadelson, and Ethan Xiao, to demonstrate support for the people of Wuhan, and the entire world, in the battle against the killer virus. LED candles were provided to the approximately 160 adults and children who attended the event. Children of the Young Parents’ Club members drew the word “Wuhan” and a heart shape on the floor of the gazebo so those in attendance could light the candles and choose a spot to place them. Above, Selena Chen and George Yang participate in the event.   To read more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition http://www.etypeservices.com/West%20Essex%20TribuneID480/ ...
