Edna Patton died in her Livingston home on February 4. A memorial service was offered on Tuesday, February 11, at the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home in Roseland.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Patton was a graduate of Montclair State College and later received graduate degrees from Montclair State and Drew University. She was an English teacher at James Caldwell High School in West Caldwell for 25 years, retiring in 2003.
Mrs. Patton is survived by her husband, Robert; their three children, Cindy Alexander and her partner, Scott Cumming; Jacquelyn Stafford and her husband, Thomas; and Robert Patton and his wife, Kristine; and seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
