Elinor Levine of West Orange, formerly of Monroe Township, Livingston, and Clark, died on February 1 at the age of 89. Mrs. Levine was born and raised in Newark. She was a member of Temple Beth Or in Clark and was active in Sisterhood, Ort, and Bnai’ Brith. Mrs. Levine was a homemaker and an office manager for several small companies. She is survived by her brother, Burton Steinberg of Livingston; her son, Neil Levine of Plantation, Florida; her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Harold Simandl of Livingston; her grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Services were held on February 3 at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin. Contributions may be made to Grace Hospice Healthcare Services in Edison or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
