Michael Anthony Jeskey

Michael Anthony Jeskey, of Caldwell, NJ, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on March 22, 2020, at the age of 50, surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born and raised in Livingston, NJ. He is the son of James Jeskey of Livingston and Jeanne Farabaugh Jeskey of Basking Ridge. Michael had a great relationship with both of his parents and could often be found helping them with a project or stopping by to visit. Michael was married to the love of his life, Trish Crincoli Jeskey, had two amazing children, Drew and Julia, and recently celebrated 20 years of marriage. He was the loving brother to three sisters, Donna Jeskey Lowry (Christopher Lowry), Carolyn Jeskey (Timothy McAndrew), and Beth Jeskey Smargiassi (Michael Smargiassi). Michael was a loved member of the Crincoli family: Gino Crincoli, Adriana Arminio, Sandra Crincoli Lauer (Arnold Lauer), Michael Crincoli (Devin Vaughn), Michelle Crincoli (Ivan Donadic). He was a remarkable uncle to Ryan, Kyle, Dylan, Aidan, Shea, Rory, Gus, Ryan, Nicole, and Marc. Michael received a B.S. in education from Trenton State College and a double master’s in childhood education and technology. He taught technology education at Heritage Middle School in Livingston for 25 years. Michael has touched the lives of his family, friends, colleagues and students. He has provided exceptional support to people in times of need, and shared his knowledge and love of how things work with his students. Michael made all of us better people through his example and the way he lived his life. Michael was a NASCAR fan, and enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and skiing; vacations to Arizona, Italy and Long Beach Island; and spending time with family and friends. His sense of humor, competitive game play, practical advice and smile left an impression on everyone he met. His ability to find items on the side of the road or Craigslist, and fix them, is unmatched. He could build or repair anything. Some of his most memorable finds and restoration projects include, ’80s video table games, bar billiards tables, and tools. In honor of his love of technology and creative spirit, the Jeskey family has created the Michael Jeskey Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will be available to Livingston High School seniors pursuing an education in technology or engineering.
