Planning Bd. Holds Hearing for So. Livingston Ave. Retail Space

The Planning Board met on Tuesday evening, July 21, for a virtual conference and special meeting. The Board unanimously approved an application, Mango Tree Real Estate Holdings (NJ), LLC - Application No.2020-6-MSUBV and Eugene Taylo, Jr., - Application No. 2020-10-MSUBV. An application for JMZ Enterprises, at the Corner of East McClellan Avenue and Scott Terrace and Green Terrace Homes, was adjourned until Thursday, August 6, at 7:30 p.m.

South Livingston Ave. Property

Returning to the Planning board was an application for the property at 90 South Livingston Avenue. The applicant CP Management Group II, was represented by CherylLynn Walters of Nehmad, Perillo Davis and Goldstein.

Walters gave a brief history review of the application to date. The applicant was first in front of the board on November 14, 2017, for a sub division, adjacent to another property, and the original proposal called for Starbucks with drivethru. After numerous hearings, that specific application was withdrawn, and they requested to come to the Planning Board with a new proposal. In past records, the block number was misidentified and now has been corrected. The previous applicant was tabled, and over the last few months, during the pandemic crisis, they have been preparing to submit revised plans.
