The Livingston Planning Board met virtually on Tuesday, September 15, to discuss two matters. The meeting was livestreamed on the Livingston Township, NJ Facebook page.
The Board first reviewed ordinance 14-2020, which had previously been read by the Township Council. The Board is required to review the ordinance to ensure that it is in keeping with the township’s master plan. It creates a new section, 170-107.2, to make 457 and 461 South Livingston Avenue a mixed-use zone with an overlay. The properties currently contain single-family residences in lots 62 and 63, just east of the ShopRite entrance on South Livingston Avenue before Wardell Road.
