The Livingston Planning Board, at its Tuesday, March 21 meeting, gave final review and approval to A&M Partnership’s 71 multi-family residential unit application for an unnumbered Eisenhower Parkway parcel.

Town Hall was a sea of green on Monday, March 13, as the Township Council honored the late Eric Rosenson, past-president of the Livingston Junior Lancer Lacrosse program. Rosenson died in December of 2022. Town Hall was filled with members of the Livingston Lacrosse community, who attended the start of the evening’s Council meeting to see Rosenson be recognized.

During the conference meeting of the Livingston Township Council, held on Monday, March 13, members discussedhonoringthetown’s former clerk at an upcoming meeting and heard a proposal from the families of township LGBTQ students.

During its Monday, March 13, meeting, the Livingston Township Council was presentedfindings from the ad-hoc Livingston Cannabis Subcommittee, about what classes of cannabis business to approve in town. In November 2020, a referendum passed in New Jersey approving the legalization of cannabis by a two to one vote.

The Livingston Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday, March 14, at Route 10 and Eisenhower Parkway.

Livingston’s Board of Education reviewed the proposed 2023-24 school budget at its meeting on Monday, March 6. The review showed a primary investment in personnel, student support and reconciling with increasing enrollment within the budget.

There will be 7 p.m. performances of “Chicago” on March 9, 10 and 11, with a 2 p.m. matinee on March 11. The Livingston Fire Department responded to a number of calls between Wednesday, March 1, and Saturday, March 4.

It has been an eventful first two months of 2023 for the Livingston Police Department. The department was involved in a high-profile incident involving a stolen school bus; officers continue to respond to car burglaries; and a string of anti-Semitic incidents have prompted a heightened police response.
